Moshi Urban Water Supply and Sewerage Authority (MUWSA) is a full autonomous 'Utility responsible for the provision of safe water, collection and disposal of wastewater in Moshi, the town of Mt. Kilimanjaro. MUWSA is looking for dynamic, results driven individual to fill in the position of:
Reporting to:Human Resources and Administration Manager
Purpose of the Job
This is a Supervisory position in which ~he position holder is required to oversee all Administrative operations and routines.
Main duties and responsibilities:
-Ensuring proper procedures and methods for Administrative functions are in place and conform to the International Standardization for Organization (ISO). These procedures include security, real estate management, motor vehicle management, cleanliness, site upkeep and gardening, repair and rehabilitation of assets and postal services.
-To ensure transport facilities are well managed this includes fuel and motor vehicle movements, maintenance, servicing, licence renewal, insurance services as well driving compliance to Authority Transport Policy.
-Ensuring proper management of Authority's assets to include title deed procurement, codification, repair/rehabilitation/construction proposals and proper maintenance of the same.
-To ensure that administrative related key deliverables are achieved to the satisfaction of the required targets and beyond.
-To oversee visitation of Authority's guests to include booking arrangements, travelling, meeting, record taking, and archive management.
-Making closer follow up of administrative related labour, civil and criminal cases in consultation with Human Resources and Administration Manager
-Perform any other related duties as may be assigned by the Human Resources and Administration Manager.
Minimum Job Requirements
Qualifications:
Holder of first degree/Advanced Diploma in Human Resources Management/Public Administration/Business Administration.
Working experience:
-Minimum of five (5) years working experience in similar field from reputable organization .

-Proven substantial computer knowledge and skills Demonstrated good leadership qualities
-Ability to work under pressure
-High level of initiative, creativity and integrity
Age Limit:
The applicant should between 30 and 50 years of age

Position:Geographical Information System (GIS) Analyst

Purpose of the Job:
This is a Supervisory position in which the position holder is required to coordinate field survey and update the same on commercial database aiming at general Authority performance improvement.
Main duties and responsibilities:
-Prepare maps for customer survey
-Support network asset management system Perform various analysis for customer database
-Help to reduce Non Revenue Water through proper use of water network analysis Identifying potential areas for utility investment through satellite imagery
-Prepare the utility to the application of modern technologies such as SCADA System
Minimum Job Requirements
Qualifications:
-Candidate must possess Diploma in Geo-informative or Cartographer with basic knowledge in Customer Survey. Knowledge of various software such as ILWIS, IBAMS, Perfect/ Smart Billing and application of GIS Version 10 Software will be an added advantage.
Working experience:

Position:Public Health Specialist-Health Economist
Position Description:

The US Embassy is seeking an individual for the position of Public Health Specialist- Health Economist at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.
Basic Function of Position:
The primary function of this position is to guide the development, implementation and dissemination of CDC/PEPFAR supported costing studies and subsequent economic evaluation by providing scientific economic technical assistance to produce high quality, high impact date with which to perform economic evaluations. As part of this work, the incumbent will build scientific and programmatic capacity skills in the rapidly emerging field of health economics within PEP FAR/CDC Tanzania, the Ministry of Health and Social Welfare (MOHSW),other relevant Government of Tanzania (GOT) Ministries and local partners, using a variety of techniques including formal and informal training, one to one mentorship and other training methods to ensure stronger economic science skills are developed in-country. Furthermore the role involves enhancement of utilization of economic data for program planning and policy development through working collaboratively with program and policy makers to understand what economic information is needed and then to deliver that information in a timely, readily usable format. The incumbent will assist with budget forecasting and use mathematical models to assist program staff with program planning.
